  • Energized by a surprising Iowa straw poll finish, Rick Santorum is heading straight for the limelight Sunday: the stage where Michele Bachmann and Rick Perry are speaking.
  • Just hours after taking fourth place in Ames—barely behind Tim Pawlenty, who devoted considerably more resources to the poll—Santorum canceled plans to leave Iowa Sunday and took up an invitation to speak at the Black Hawk County GOP dinner in Waterloo. There he’ll join Bachmann, the Ames winner, and Perry, the Texas governor whose late entry scrambled the 2012 race this weekend.
