Thank You
I want to take a moment to thank all of you who have used my links and graphics to purchase coffee and tea from Mystic Monk Coffee, and those who have purchased items from Faith of the Fathers Catholic Gifts.
Your purchases have earned me enough in commissions to allow me to purchase minutes for my cell phone for one month. The cell phone is a necessity for my job, and for home use as well.
I would be remiss in not thanking another group as well. Thank you to all of you kind and extremely generous people who have made donations to me through PayPal. I also thank those of you who have made donations through YouCaring for my cataract surgery. I can never fully express how much I truly do appreciate you all. Rest assured that all are in my prayers.
Thank you again.
May God Bless you all and Our Lady keep you in her care.

Frustrated
Have you ever received an unsolicited offer in the mail, offering a personal loan?
Yours truly did, and decided to apply since the offer was from a well known, reputable company.
I was turned down, which didn't really surprise me. However it really was disappointing, since I hoped this would be a way for me to consolidate some bills, and possibly help get me on the path to having my much needed eye surgery.
What I hate from these offers, is the implication that you merely need apply, and "get your money as soon as today if approved by noon".
Fine. Why though, give the recipient the impression that they can get a loan, by sending them the offer in the first place?
They must send these offers out in a mass mailing from a list they get from somewhere is all I know.
Still it would have been better not to get such an offer in the first place if there was really no chance of approval at all. One would hope that there would be some type of pre-screening so that those with low credit scores wouldn't get their hopes up, just to get the rug yanked out from under them again.
I mean I didn't need my nose rubbed in it.

I truly thought that with the new job, and doing somewhat better, I had a chance with this. Just goes to show, I shouldn't be thinking.
Oh well, back to the drawing board.
